This role can be flexible in function, there are ongoing hardware development needs within the test team, candidates with technical leadership ambitions are also of interest.



This will be a hands on electronics development role, designing test equipment in a consultancy environment.



Technical experience:



* Proven track record in Development / Provision & roll out of electronics Test Facilities
* Experience with project test lifecycle e.g. Prototype Testing, Development Testing, Production Testing, etc
* Programming experience: e.g. National Instruments LabVIEW, PXI test solutions, C/Visual basic
* JTAG/Boundary scan experience
* Instrumentation control via PC: IEEE, 488/GPIB, use of PC mounted I/O and acquisition cards
* Experience with PXI test solutions
* Experience in producing design documentation, test procedures
* PC literate e.g. Office, VISIO etc.



More experienced candidates will have the ability to:

* Would closely with customers to architect and develop electronics and software (Firmware) for test solutions/

* Have Day to day responsibility for test output with all test staff reporting to you.



* Line and operational leadership/reporting responsibility )
*
* Representing the Company with customers and suppliers, particularly in areas where your technical expertise is required.
*
* Occasional requirement to support output demands and support the lines by testing product.
*
