The Role: 

As a Fire and Security Technical Estimator, you will be tasked with progressing internal and external customer enquiries, interpreting specification and creating plans. 

Your aim will be to assess project costs for fire and security installations and produce quotes from a cost model. 

Additionally, your role will involve: 

- Working closely with colleagues, M&E contractors, Consultants and end users 
- Using the knowledge gained to fill information gaps regarding the accuracy and compliance for each tender 
- Undertaking site surveys across the South 
- Supporting the National Accounts and Solutions Team in the completion of field work 

About You: 

To be considered for the role of Fire and Security Technical Estimator, you will need: 

- Experience of servicing, installing and commissioning fire alarm systems 
- Experienced in fire and security estimating, preferably fire 
- An understanding of BS5839 Part 1-2013 (Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems) 
- Good Microsoft Office skills 
- A full driving licence 

You may have previously held the position of Fire and Security Technical Estimator, Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Alarm Technician, Fire Systems Engineer, Security System Engineer, or Access Control Engineer. 

Equally, our client would be keen to hear from candidates who have held the title of Intruder Alarm Engineer, Security System Estimator, Alarm Systems Estimator, M&E Estimator, or Access Control Estimator.
