Role: Senior Highways/Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £40,000 (negotiable)

I am looking to place a Senior Highways/Infrastructure Engineer in a large, multidisciplinary consultancy’s Manchester office. The firm has a global presence and over 40 offices in the UK. The firm are looking to source a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to replace one of their Seniors who will be leaving shortly.

The right candidate will have experience of major infrastructure, highways and drainage projects and will either be approaching chartered or already chartered with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT).

The ideal candidate will have been in industry for 6-10 years and be a competent MX, Civils 3D and Microdrainage user. The role will involve checking and signing off designs, so previous experience in this area would be beneficial. Also, previous experience of Section 38 / 278 Agreements would be useful.

Candidates should be comfortable both in the design office and on site, with the ability to manage more junior engineers a desirable trait.

Job Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • (Approaching) Chartered with ICE / CIHT
  • 6-10 years Civil Infrastructure/Highways experience
  • Software skills: MX, Microdrainage, Civils 3D
  • Section 38 / 278 Agreements experience
