Role: Associate Structural Engineer
Location: Central London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

I am looking to place an Associate Structural Engineer within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy’s London Head Office. The firm has a world-wide presence and multiple offices in the UK. They are looking to place an Associate who has experience of London-based projects, with the capability of overseeing a range of projects specifically in London. The firm is currently completing a range of education, healthcare, retail and mixed-use high-rise designs in London.

The expectation is that candidates will already be chartered with either the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE), as the role will feature some mentoring of more junior employees as well as checking/approving designs.

The firm are looking for a candidate who is also competent in Finite Element Analysis using Masterseries (or similar) software. This is on top of the expectation of being a competent designer with a range of other software.

The firm would prefer applicants who have extensive previous experience of London-based projects or other major UK cities. The firm is offering the opportunity to lead a team of engineers and a range of benefits for the right candidate.

Job Requirements:
  • Chartered with ICE/IStructE
  • Civil/Structural Engineering Degree
  • London-based project experience
  • Competency in Finite Element Analysis
