Job Role

Our client is currently looking to employ an Air Conditioning Maintenance / Service Engineer to join their company.

This is a field based role consisting of undertaking routine maintenance on various types of HVAC equipment, where the candidate would benefit from a useful understanding of air conditioning equipment from Split type to VRF, Small Chillers, Air Handling Units and Close Control Computer Room equipment, these being primarily being the equipment you would be expected to undertake works on.

The key duties will include:

* Carrying out routine maintenance, and fault diagnosis and repair of various types of air conditioning equipment.
* Clearly and concise completion of fault report service sheets and F-Gas refrigerant logging paperwork.
* Dealing directly with end users ensuring that their needs are dealt with in a professional manner.
* Maintaining standards in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
* Ensuring company vehicle is kept clean and tidy with service intervals being adhered to.

The Candidate

The successful candidate would expected to be able work on their own initiative with the minimum of supervision. However the company will provide full ongoing product technical training along with ensuring engineers hold all relevant industry required qualifications.

Our client also ensure employees attend various health and safety courses in order to ensure all staff are fully aware of Health & Safety regulations involved in the works required to be undertaken.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to provide good customer service along with excellent timekeeping skills.

The company operates nationwide therefore the successful candidate will also be expected to work out of town when required.

City and Guilds or equivalent qualifications are a requirement. A current clean driving license would also be an advantage as a company vehicle may be supplied.
