Aerospace Graduate - Application Programmer - Middlesex, Heathrow - £18,000 to 23,000 pa

This is an immediate requirement for an Application Programmer or Software Engineer with knowledge of the principles of flight and aeronautics / avionics.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Graduate to work for a leading aerospace data analytics company in the Middlesex area. This graduate software engineer will be working on the development of sophisticated ground-based software applications for the analysis of recorded flight data.

The ideal candidate will have experience of basic software coding and flight principals.



Responsibilities for this Application Programmer role
- Liaise with customers to evolve the detailed requirements
- Design, implement, test and document the analysis software
- Work closely with other software developers, both on-site and internationally
- Provide customer support as required

Requirements for this Application Programmer role
- Be educated to degree or equivalent level
- Have basic experience with C, C++ or C#
- Have a knowledge of the principles of flight and aeronautics / avionics
- Be a team player who is also capable of working independently
- Have the flexibility to undertake additional tasks as required
- Like to thrive in a challenging and high-pressure environment
- Be able to solve problems in a structured and reasoned manner

Due to the nature of the work at this site, applicants must be capable of achieving SC level UK security clearance. Current clearance is not a requirement.
