Electrical Project Manager
Ballymena, Co Antrim
£30,000 - £40,000 DOE

If you’re a project management professional with a background in electronic engineering design, this is an incredible opportunity to develop unique technologies with a cutting-edge business.

Our client is an internationally successful provider of specialist diagnostic solutions. They are now looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Ballymena.

With a reputation for quality and innovation, our client is dedicated to developing products that will help to change the face of diagnostics and improve healthcare the world over.

You will have the chance to become an integral player in the company’s product development process and deliver novel solutions that will make a real impact in their industry.

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will transform our client’s R&D projects into scalable manufactured products.

In this important role, you’ll manage the transition of proof of concept engineering projects through to manufacturing stage.

Liaising with R&D Teams and manufacturing contractors, you will oversee product refinements and the scale-up process. You’ll ensure that all tasks are carried out to a high standard in-line with project timelines.

The majority of our client’s R&D projects have academic origins, so the ability to collaborate with academic institutions is key.

To be considered, you will need:

- At least five years’ electronic engineering design experience in both digital and analogue hardware
- Project management experience
- A good understanding of the electronics manufacturing process
- A degree (or equivalent) in electrical and/or electronics engineering

Organised and adaptable, as the Electrical Project Manager, you will be able to communicate complex ideas in a simple and effective way. You’ll also be able to manage multiple priorities and work on your own initiative.

Ideally, you will have a working knowledge of embedded firmware and Bluetooth technology, but this is not essential.
