Our client is a commercial boat builder based in Pembroke Dock and specialise in designing and building steel and aluminium craft up to 40 metres in length for their worldwide customer base.

The succesful candidate will responsible for electrical installations on boats and must be able to work from electrical schematics and be able to run diagnostics of existing equipment.

Key responsibilities:
As part of the operations team, you will work directly under the capability leader and will be responsible for:

• Fault finding, AD/DC electrical systems, including engine and navigation systems
• Repair electrical installations
• Run, dress and install cabling
• Build and install low grade electrical switchboards and pipe
• Install marine electrical and navionics equipment
• Ensure activities meet and intergrate with organisational quality, health and safety and environmental policies

Skills/requirements:
• Fully time served and preferably with experience of working within the marine and/or boat building, although electrical experience gained with aviation or military environment would also be considered.
• Be prepared to work outdoors, on the waterside on a very regular basis as well as at sea during sea trials.
• Be prepared to work within confined spaces for long periods of time
• Have the ability to work to project deadlines
• Be a strong team player who understands the importance of working as an effective team member

Salary - £24,482 - £28,100 (Dependant on experience
Hours - 40 hour week
Overtime rates apply for weekend hours
