Safety Engineer - Corsham, Wiltshire
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Experience:

* Working as a Safety Engineer with a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience
* ATM domain knowledge/experience
* Experience of the application of Safety and risk engineering processes to identify hazards, assess risk, and implement controls to reduce risk to an acceptable level is required
* Experience of working directly with clients and presenting information and findings in either a report or presentation format
* Experience of working as part of a team and individually to bounded timelines
* 5 Years Safety Engineering experience
* 5+ Years ATM domain experience; working as a Safety Engineer in civil and or military ATM environments



Qualifications:

* Educated to degree level in: Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related discipline
* Engineering HNC/HND qualified with substantiated evidence of technical experience gained working within civil and or military ATM environments
* Post Graduate qualification in Safety Engineering
* Other Post Graduate qualifications.
* Professional Registration with IEng OR CEng Status

* Understanding of Safety Management Systems
* Production and delivery of Safety Management Plans
* Background in Safety Assessment and Safety Analysis, including application of FTA, ETA and other techniques
* Experience / understanding of MOD safety processes e.g POSMS
* Experience/understanding of the Eurocontrol SAM
* Technical understanding/familiarity of Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Equipment/Systems
