We have fantastic opportunities for Design Engineers and Senior Design Engineers working in the Design Office at our Denham site.
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Generate innovative, fit-for-purpose designs using the latest 3D CAD software. Liaise regularly with other key project stakeholders to ensure the designs are right-first-time. Simulate performance using FEA and other software tools. Build in quality at the design stage trough DFMEA, DFA/DFM. Undertake regular design reviews. Fully document design history and collate product analyses. Deliver multiple projects on time and on budget. Generate detailed engineering drawings to AMSE Y14.X series of standards. Use GD&T to fully define the part. Conduct clearance and interchangeability analysis as required. Determine the best, most commercially viable solution within the given parameters whilst optimising manufacturability. Support trial installations and take part in customer visits. Produce and deliver design review presentations. Prepare retrofit and modifications designs.

The ideal candidate will have general experience of design output gained from within mechanical / aeronautical engineering related industry. Mechanical Engineering Degree accredited by I-Mech-E is required.
