The successful candidates will assist Project Managers on a variety of EIA projects working on some of the most high profile capital projects in the country. Role responsibilities

* Provide technical assistance on environmental projects and related activities in support of clients’ domestic development projects. Conduct tasks related to environmental impact assessment.
* Work as part of teams preparing EIAs and associated management plans in compliance with applicable requirements. Perform project delivery activities such as report writing, undertaking and organizing data collection and survey field work, performing data and literature review, developing recommendations for clients, and conducting field work.
* Assist with multi-media permitting and compliance associated with development projects.
* Assist with developing and executing corporate Impact Assessment & Planning systems and strategies.
* Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
* Work in a collaborative way with engineers, clients and other relevant stakeholders during field activities.

Skill requirements

* Educated to degree level with a BSc or MSc in Environmental Science, Management or Technology.
* The ideal candidates will have a demonstrable interest in business consulting and environmental issues (either through related coursework, previous employment, or personal endeavours).
* Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
* Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
* Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
