Responsibilities:

* As a CAD Engineer, your specific role will focus on the building and maintenance of complex CAD models – working with the wider project team to deliver quality and robust outputs.

* Undertake the design tasks associated with the development of specific systems/equipment, involving:

* Detailed design, including the development of production drawings.
* Participate in internal and external meetings or design reviews with the customer.
* Co-ordinate with the wider engineering team to deliver a coherent design/platform.
* Evolution and maintenance of existing CAD models.

Requirements:

* Competent in the following software packages would be desirable:

* Siemens NX.
* Microsoft office, including Microsoft Visio.
* Document management systems such as Teamcenter.
* Business management systems such as SAP.

* Good awareness of:

* Security implications for technical material.
* Commercial considerations.
* Workplace Health and Safety.

* Finite Element Analysis tools such as Pro Mechanical or Ansys.
* Dynamic simulation or analysis tools such as ADAMS.
* Experience of either automotive, or suspension or tracked vehicle systems.
