Key responsibilities to include:

- Generate conceptual designs for proposals or projects and preparing design layouts using 3D drawing packages.

- Production of engineering designs and drawings generally including P&ID's, general arrangements, general assembly drawings and detailed fabrication drawings in accordance with all applicable Departmental Working Procedures and instructions.

- Ensure that work is carried out to a high standard and in compliance with statutory Health & Safety requirements, Client Specifications Company Specifications and CDM.

The Candidate:

Essential:

- Degree qualified in Engineering (or equivalent).

- Must have excellent AutoCAD and Inventor skills.

Advantageous:

- Any prior experience of the water industry.

- Knowledge of local Water client specifications.

- Experience of working with access and maintenance platforms.

- Experience of working with pipework systems.

- Knowledge and experience of computer modelling principles.

- Experience using ILogic

- Design / Development of mechanical products.

- Experience of working in a drawing office environment through employment, work experience or placement (this must be from within an engineering or manufacturing environment/company).
