LOCATION:        

The post holders normal place of work is MCC offices at Raglan and Usk which may change in the future if the service location needs to relocate and which disturbance expenses will not be paid. The nature of the role requires travel within and outside of the county. 

WELSH LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT:

Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential

PURPOSE OF POST:

The post holder will report to and assist the Highway Development Manager (Highway & Flood Management) The Assistant Engineer (Development) will be responsible for assisting the Highway Development Manager in discharging the Councils statutory duties and functions in respect of highway, drainage and surface water management planning matters.
