Renowned for their innovation and commitment to R&D, our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of radar solutions. They are now looking for a Test Technician to join their team in Wantage.

The Role

As Test Technician, you will assist with the assembly and testing of complex electronic systems. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Assemble and repair systems 
- Carry out soldering, crimping and cabling activities 
- Measure voltage and resistance 
- Program firmware 
- Test system performance and collect data 
- Write short reports on your findings 

About You

To be considered, you will need: 

- At least two years’ electronics testing and repair experience 
- A qualification in electrical and/or electronic engineering, such as a BTEC, ONC, HNC, C&G or apprenticeship
- A driving licence and access to your own transport, due to our client’s location 
- A proactive and quality conscious approach 
- Excellent attention to detail
