The ideal candidate will have experience managing Projects and have experience in the following:

* Pipework fabrication
* Pressure Vessels
* Skid mounted process pipework packages
* ISO systems
* Communication and Interaction with sub-vendors
* Experience with job costing and budget control of a project.


* Head up a project kick-off meeting where the Sales Department communicate the clients requirements complete with the budgets set to service these requirements.
* To check that the Clients project specifications are understood and that all commercial undertakings align with the quotation supplied to the Client.
* To ensure each costing centre within the quotation is not exceeded and where possible maximise the profit. Cost centres to include:- materials, sub-contract, fabrication labour, site labour etc.
* Communication of Bill of Materials and all sub-contract requirements to the procurement team ensuring that budgets are not exceeded and all project specifications are communicated to the suppliers within the PO to be placed.
* Regular checks of the project costs at the programme milestones.


* The ability to be able to process a project programme using Microsoft Project.
* Ensuring that the production team can meet / approve your suggested durations of each relevant task, pipework / steelwork fabrication.
* Ensuring that the sub-contractors can meet your programme requirements, NDT, paint galvanising etc.
* Regular submission of the project programme to the Client for review complete with notes explaining the critical paths.


* The completion of material take offs, cutting lists, engineering breakdowns and technical drawings to aid the issuing of Job Cards.
* Engineering drawings to aid sub contract orders to be placed to fabricate segments of project work unable to be undertaken by P.E.C.
* Assist in drawing up P.E.C. fabrication standardisation for general engineering practices.
* Assist the Workshop Supervisor in drawing up plant requirements to aid workshop production.
* Complete site measuring to enable fabrication drawings to be drawn for the issue of workshop job cards.
* To liaise with the CAD and Engineering Manager on bespoke design requirements.
* To communicate with all sub-contract companies as required to include galvanisers, painters and transport.
* To undertake the procurement of materials and hiring of all plant and equipment as required through our Procurement Department.
