Internal Sales Manager Mansfield, Nottinghamshire to c£36k (neg dep exp)

Our client specialises in the provision of monitoring and reliability services within a diverse range of manufacturing environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly self-motivated Internal Sales Manager to complement the activities of an established and successful team.

Based out of a prestigious Head Office operation based in Nottinghamshire and with customer sites based throughout the UK, they enhance the effectiveness of clients’ maintenance organisations and departments through the development and implementation of various reliability strategies and techniques.

As Internal Sales Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the Internal Sales team in order to devise and implement dynamic marketing strategies and material to present the company’s products to prospective customers, handling product demonstrations and presentations when required and responding to technical questions as necessary.

You will maximise results achieved through both in-bound email and telephone enquiries from new and existing customers and assist in the qualification of opportunities, validating technical requirements and providing product recommendations as appropriate as well as responding efficiently to RFI’s and RFP’s, engaging the appropriate internal resources in order to help close opportunities and following up with prospective customers during the evaluation phase.

To be considered for this varied and challenging Internal Sales Manager role, it is envisaged that you will possess relevant engineering qualifications and proven experience gained within a technical sales and marketing environment. As the role is very much “reactive” to the needs of customers, a proactive and dynamic approach to maximising results and the ability to “up-sell” at every opportunity are essential in this diverse, technically challenging and often pressurised role where customer satisfaction and service are paramount.

You will be able to demonstrate experience of successful lead generation, supplier liaison and marketing activities and be comfortable in working both autonomously and as part of a team, and IT proficient and familiar with CMMS, MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Whilst office based, as relationships are developed with customers then occasional visits to sites may be undertaken, so a flexible approach to travel is also essential for the role.
