My client has grown significantly over a number of years and today is the leading



supplier of wheel service equipment to the automotive aftermarket in the UK.

They operate at the premium end of the market, consequently the levels of customer



service and support we continue to deliver underpin their success.



With rapid expansion, their structure has needed to adapt and integrate swiftly. As



a consequence it has been identified that they need a strong business professional



to manage the operations within their head office at Towcester. The Directors



have worked tirelessly to develop the business from scratch over 25 years ago



and are now looking to release many of their functions. As entrepreneurs



they realise they are no longer best suited (given the size of business) to



manage the business on a day-to-day basis. They want to move away from the



routine management and focus more on the future direction and opportunities



that the company can aspire to.



As a result, they are looking for someone with senior leadership experience and



skills plus a proven track record to come on board. This would involve taking



control and managing all business, administrative and operational aspects of a



busy sales and service organisation. Working as the central hub within the office



to facilitate the smooth running of all departments by honing and nurturing the



existing skills and talents within.



Departments consist of: Finance; Aftersales (service & parts/stores/equipment



build); HR; IT; Sales administration. The right person would also work alongside



their established Sales Director who manages the busy field sales force.



You will need to bring real vigour and enthusiasm and be able to show team



motivational skills while developing, mentoring and cementing the teams ongoing



success, for the benefit of the Company as a whole.



You will preferably have a MBA qualification in a business related discipline and



have a minimum of 6 years experience in a commercial management role. You



will need to demonstrate excellent customer focus that enables you to deliver



positive experiences throughout the organisation. You should be commercially



astute and be capable of further enhancing both revenue and profitability of the



business. You will need to support the sales team, providing it with a stable and



efficient platform giving it the tools required for continued success in a



competitive service orientated market.



The position will be well rewarded with a salary negotiable dependent on



experience and those special extra talents you can bring to the organisation.
