A Systems Integration Engineer is required by a market leading Aerospace company to deliver IFE and connectivity products to a global customer base.



Role: Systems Integration Engineer

As Systems Integration Engineer you will be responsible for:



+ System design definition based on customer requirements to deliver a working solution
+ Allocation of requirements and tasks to system components
+ System Integration of components based on customer aircraft configuration
+ Lead system integration activities (prototypes, pre-integration, integration, test readiness)
+ Management of inter-dependencies between individual system components
+ Release management activities, ensuring that customer functionality is delivered in accordance with requirements
+ Engineering process artefacts (requirement documents, design documents, integration plans, etc.)
+ Work with Development and Test teams as systems stakeholder to ensure software development is aligned with system design



Experience:

As Systems Integration Engineer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline
+ Network technologies
+ WiFi networks
+ Virtualisation/linux/UNIX
+ Working knowledge of aircraft cabin systems
+ Possesses detailed technical and analytical skills
+ Experience with Satcom GX systems
