Are you a programme manager looking to advance your career within technical engineering products?



This client is looking for project or programme managers from an engineering background, preferably with knowledge managing aerospace equipment and with keen interest in the aerospace sector.



The role will essentially be providing management oversight to a number of new aerospace and safety system projects through:

- defining project objectives

- identifying requirements for company resources

- providing forecasting and market knowledge

- prepare proposals and assist in contract negotiations

- support global business in terms of production, development and exhibition functions

- provide technical guidance and oversight within other departments and with customers and suppliers

- ensure adherence to legal and contractual obligations



Essential experience required:

- Broad project management experience

- managing aerospace and electronic software and equipment

- presentation and development experience

- some experience in risk management

- broad experience of managing customer interfaces



Technical requirements:

- excellent communication - oral, written and presentation wise

- thorough planning and administrative experience

- experience working with high calibre projects within engineering and aerospace

- degree or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
