Our client is an integrated service provider that delivers a range of mechanical, electrical & building fabric maintenance services within the public transport sector. They are now looking for a number of Lead Network Operations Engineers to join their team.

As the Lead Network Operations Engineer, you will plan, deliver and close reactive works in-line with customer requirements, to budget and agreed timescales. 

Acting as the main point of escalation within the Network Operations Centre, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of reactive repairs. 

Leading the Technical Services Team, you’ll ensure that they monitor faults as they progress and carry out all corrective tasks to the highest standards. 

Additionally, you will: 

- Acquire resources, including materials and labour, to deliver repairs 
- Delegate tasks to your team 
- Build strong working relationships with customers 
- Track project timescales and deliverables 
- Oversee minor asset replacement and new installations, including M&E, fabric and fire/access systems 

To be considered, you will need: 

- At least ten years’ direct work experience in an FM mobile engineering environment 
- Experience of providing engineering technical support 
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and database management 
- An HND or equivalent qualification in a mechanical, engineering or fire related discipline 

The ideal Lead Network Operations Engineer will have an IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualification. Strong project skills would also be an advantage, as would experience in an engineering and/or maintenance call or operations centre. 

Please note, there are three positions available, working morning, afternoon or night shifts. The working hours are an average of 42.5 hours per week, working shifts of 6:15 – 14:15, 14:15 – 22:15 and 22:15 – 6:15. You will also be required to work two 12 hour weekend shifts per month (a rest day will be provided during the week).
