A Master Production Scheduler is required to lead the Master Scheduling function of a global high technology manufacturer.



Role: Master Production Scheduler

As Master Production Scheduler you will be responsible for:

+ Developing Sales, Inventory and Operating Plan summaries for various product families, including demand, inventory, production data and sales forecasts
+ Chair & present 12-month demand, production and inventory summaries at weekly management and monthly exec meetings
+ Develop feasible level loaded monthly master production schedules for forecasted demand and component items based on capacity levels
+ Advise manufacturing, supply chain & engineering of capacity issues such that changes are effective. Identify potential corrective actions such as: working overtime, adding machines/test bays, outsourcing or expediting

+ Provide monthly & weekly schedules to manufacturing and install production & production schedule adherence metrics to measure schedule adherence performance
+ Report monthly on production inventories, managing inventory levels set by the annual business plan to delivering revenue growth from an well considered inventory plan
+ Lead and represent the Operations team in all matters relating to ERP system utilization / optimisation. Provide guidance with all matters relating to MRP methodologies



Experience:

As Master Production Scheduler you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline
+ Demonstrable track record of successful development / implementation of master scheduling in a high tech production environment
+ ERP and MRP class "A" experience
+ Strong organisational and decision-making skills and be capable of developing relationships, negotiating with and influencing people

+ proven leadership skills
