Instrument Technician



An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Instrument Technician to work within a world leading Aerospace and Defence organisation.

You will have responsibility for the calibration, installation, repair and maintenance of a wide range of instruments and equipment.



Scope of the role:



+ Calibration of Instrumentation in accordance with a scheduled plan

+ Installation, repairs and maintenance of new and existing instrumentation

+ Maintain and develop the current scheduled calibration system

+ Technical support for manufacturing and departmental works requests on instrumentation



Skills and qualifications:



+ You should have a formal qualification (HNC, HND or degree) in an Instruments, Electronic or Electrical discipline, and have served a recognised apprenticeship or be suitably trained.



Support and training will be provided for the successful candidate, to fill any gaps in knowledge and experience.
