Technical Training Delivery Manager
£35,284 - £41,511 (dependent on experience)
RNLI Headquarters - Poole, Dorset
Ref: 7489

Our lifesaving crew require exceptional skills so that they are able to confidently tackle dangerous situations and save lives at sea. The Technical Training Team is intrinsic to the development of our crew; the skills and competence from the team cover a wide range of needs, from understanding how to maintain and operate machinery, launch and recovery to GMDSS radio.

As a priority for the RNLI, the demand for this training is high and your exceptional skills at managing a team of remote and HQ based operational trainers to enable the efficient planning and delivery of these life-changing training sessions will be critical. Being highly organised and confident in people management, you will have the ability to work with and influence people at all levels and use your excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve team and project issues, mitigate risks and make the appropriate recommendations.

What’s in it for you?

You will contribute directly to the RNLI’s mission to reduce drowning and save lives at sea.

You will be part of an incredible function that is committed to the learning and development of our staff and volunteers; and a talented team of forward thinking Managers that work creatively together to continuously improve our approach to training. You will have the opportunity to get involved in the strategic direction of Learning and Development, exploring exciting new ways of working that will have a sustainable positive impact on our crew and the RNLI as a whole.

We will invest in your future, through a personalised development plan designed with yourself, to both promote your strengths and improve areas of development.

The role will require some flexibility to meet the demands of the service which may include some travel away from home. In return for your flexibility, you will also benefit from flexibility to meet your needs.
