An Electrical Systems Engineer is required by a leading Motorsport team their Electrical Systems Engineering team working on safety critical products for their vehicle.

Role: Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

As Senior Electrical Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:

+ Specification and installation of on and off car harnesses, assemblies and their associated components in order to fulfil the team requirements, and delivered in a timely manner

+ Investigating and resolving electrical system faults as assigned

+ Actively progressing, allocated Development and Reliability projects under the direction of the Development and Reliability Group Leader where required

+ Actively monitoring the Teamcentre checker inbox and check/Inspect Peer designer releases within Electronics and from other departments and progress through workflow as required, ensuring the correct documentation and checklist is available and completed to the required level for final sign-off

+ Continuously monitoring and improving Drawing Standards and our Design processes to aid Design, Manufacture and Test & Inspection capability

+ Providing input into the Departmental Codes of Practice, for Design and Manufacture


As Senior Electrical Systems Engineer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or other relevant discipline

+ Previous experience of using Unigraphics NX Cad systems

+ High level understanding of Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical systems, wiring, connectors and heatshrinks

+ Previous experience of the Motorsport industry would be an advantage
