Mobile Multi Skilled Commercial Gas Engineer - London

My client is looking for a commercial gas engineer with a strong background in servicing and maintaining commercial and domestic boilers and water heaters. This is a full time position working for a leading engineering company in central London.  The company are looking to employ a skilled gas engineer to work in commercial premises within the retail sector and in particular high end shopping centres. The successful candidate will receive a salary of between £35,000 and £38,000 plus benefits such as private health care and pension scheme. You will need to have a good background of experience working with different boilers, water heaters and gas supplies and will have valid commercial gas certificates as shown below.

What you will be doing:
  • Planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances such as boilers, water heaters, cookers or fires.
  • Install new equipment when required.
  • Diagnose and repair faults to equipment.
 Requirements of the candidate:
  • Commercial gas certification such as COCN1, CCCN1, CODC1, CODNCO1, CORT1 or CCN1
  • 17th edition wiring certification would be an advantage.
  • Over 5 years’ experience working with commercial gas equipment.
  • City and Guilds testing and inspection certificate would be an advantage.
