Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical and Electrical – Central London – Static

My Client is looking for a Multi Skilled maintenance engineer with a strong background in the maintenance of commercial properties. This is a full time static position working in a prestigious building in Central London and the company are looking to pay a salary of around £35,000 per year plus benefits. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major engineering organisation that will utilise your skills within the maintenance of a variety of mechanical and electrical appliances. The successful candidate will be conducting planned and reactive maintenance on electrical appliances such as lighting systems, power distribution and fire alarms as well as mechanical equipment such as HVAC systems, pumps, motors and plumbing systems.   

What you will be doing:
  • Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems within commercial buildings.
  • Small Installation works on new equipment when required.
  • Diagnose and repair faults to equipment.
 Requirements of the candidate:
  • 17th edition wiring certification is essential.
  • Over 5 years’ experience working in facilities maintenance.
  • City and Guilds testing and inspection certificate.
  • Mechanical or electrical degree would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience performing planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems.
