Research Fellow in Condition Monitoring
The School of Computing and Engineering is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Research Fellow in the condition monitoring of rotating machinery. You will have a PhD in condition monitoring and substantial postdoctoral experience in vibration condition monitoring of rotating machinery. Experience in measurements, data analytics and modelling is essential for this role.
You should be able to undertake advanced levels of programming for hardware control and software improvements and have a good record of recent publications in high quality journals. A good theoretical knowledge of the research field related to condition monitoring of rotating machinery is an essential requirement for this role. A good theoretical knowledge of research field related to condition monitoring of engines, motors, bearings and gearboxes would be desirable.
This is an open-ended appointment and is dependent upon the availability of specific funding in this School. In the event of there being no further funding available to support this post you will receive appropriate notification of the termination of your employment in accordance with contractual provisions.
