We need your help to do this…

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for all site facilities including warehouse, production, office environment and yard including maintenance, and other services. Ensuring that the needs of the organisation, employees, and/or visitors are met. Facilitating a safe, efficient, presentable working environment through continuous monitoring realising both continuous improvement and step change with larger projects.

What will you be doing?

+ Manage the maintenance of the building by performing repairs with internal staff or contracting maintenance services as needed
+ Track building upkeep as well as anticipated long- and short-term improvements and maintenance
+ Keep the surrounding grounds properly cared for and landscaped
+ Interview and hire certain facility employees and contractors, such as maintenance staff and janitorial services
+ Upkeep of site Health and Safety records
+ Handle certain administrative tasks, such as preparing reports for facility owners
+ Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
+ Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
+ Supervise potential future facilities staff and external contractors
+ Create a budget for various facility needs and expenses
+ Use best business practices to manage and reduce operation costs
+ Review utilities consumption and strive to minimise costs
+ Compare costs for various services and goods before choosing the best options for the facility

What are we looking for?

+ Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
+ Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
+ Familiarity with building upkeep, Structural issues, and grounds maintenance
+ Great problem-solving skills
+ Team working and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work to deadlines and keep within budgets
+ Ability to manage and plan budget
+ Ability to look at efficiency and overall cost effectiveness
+ Flexible scheduling

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5.30pm
