I am currently searching for a Commercial Manager to join a large engineering company in Cambridgeshire undertaking the work based at the Papworth hospital just outside Cambridge.
You will be a key member of the Facilities services commercial team overseeing the contractual, procurement and financial sectors of the hospital under the PFI contract.
Role:
·         Provide set of monthly and annual project accounts
·         Monitor and manage the project work in pr9ogress- converting the WIP to cash
·         Monitor and manage the invoicing and debt ensuring optimisation of cash in line with the engineering company and capital- employed targets
·         Monitor and support the procurement procedures, tender method, negotiation and sub-contract documentation for each contract
·         Conduct the monthly payment options
Skills/ Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a commercial role within Facilities Management, large Construction or services environment
  • Problem solving, decision making and analytical capabilities
  • Strong technical commercial knowledge and decisiveness
  • Previous experience or good knowledge of PFI environment
  • Experience of working directly with client representatives
