For new hires at Milton Keynes there will be a period of onboarding required at our King's Lynn site, during this time we will provide a support package.

About the role
As our new Tooling Engineer you will manage and complete activities associated with procuring, installing and validating mould tools for new projects, scale up and routine tool replacement programmes.
You will work closely with Moulding Engineers, Operations teams and suppliers to ensure that tooling solutions are suitable and are robustly installed. This will involve you providing commercially competitive tooling solutions, estimates/quotations to internal and external stakeholders.
Injection Moulding is at the core of what Bespak do and at the last count we have 146 injection moulding machines in Kings Lynn. The Moulding and Tooling teams validate complex cells for new programmes and provide operational technical support.
As our business continues to grow our Moulding and Tooling team is expanding, 2017 saw us add 19 people to the team and due to new, exciting projects we will be recruiting for a number of roles throughout 2018.
As an experienced Tooling Engineer you have your mechanical engineering HNC / Degree (or equivalent) and have significant experience in the design, development, introduction and validation of complex moulding tools i.e. hot runners, multi shot, stack tools, IML, insert tooling etc.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able influence others around you to achieve project goals and outcomes. Ideally you will be trained in Moldflow analysis software or similar tools used for ‘design for manufacture’, will be familiar with project management methodologies i.e. Prince 2 and have an understanding of Polymer Science and be experienced with a wide variety of plastics.
