We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician​ to join our Laundry and Warehouse function in Castle Donington.

The Role

As a Mechanical Engineering Technician​, you’ll provide mechanical and electrical technical support to the business. 

Working in the Laundry and Warehouse function, you’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs and refurbish medical equipment. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Determine the root cause of product failures and implement corrective action where possible 
- Assist with the service exchange programme for high cost spare parts
- Inspect and repair equipment sub-assemblies
- Commission and decommission products where necessary 
- Order spare parts 
- Ensure your work space is clean and tidy 

About You 

To join us as a Mechanical Engineering Technician​, you’ll need: 

- Mechanical engineering experience 
- Experience of fault-finding and diagnostics 
- A full, valid driving licence (due to our location) 
- The ability to work on your own initiative, follow procedures accurately and prioritise your workload

Ideally, you’ll have experience of repairing medical equipment, but this isn’t essential.
