Electrical / Mechanical Engineer – Medical Products 
Castle Donington, Leicestershire

We are now looking for an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer to join our dedicated team in Castle Donington.

The Role 

As an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer, you will clean, test and repair our range of medical products and on occasion, deliver them to customers’ sites. 

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will: 

- Carry out work on specialist products, including beds 
- Complete the decontamination process in-line with set requirements 
- Complete and record electrical safety testing on products 
- Carry out mechanical repairs 
- Keep an inventory of products and spare parts 
- Drive a long wheelbase van to deliver and install products at customer sites 
- Support the collection of products 

About You 

To join us as an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer, you’ll need: 

- A strong mechanical or electrical background 
- A full driving licence 
- The ability to work on your own initiative and accurately follow procedures 
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain this while completing repetitive tasks 

Ideally, you’ll have a number of years’ experience of decontaminating and/or repairing medical devices, but this is not essential. 

Other companies may call this role Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance & Repair Engineer or Senior Product Maintenance Technician.
