Field Based (Covering hospitals throughout London and the South East)

The Role:

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll provide a world-class service to customers using our range of medical devices, including hospital beds, cots, bed transportation systems and patient support surfaces.  

Working closely with the Service and New Business Teams, you’ll deliver and install products and provide product training to customers. 

You’ll ensure that customers are happy with their products and pass on customers’ needs, complaints and questions to the Area Supervisors and Account and Territory Managers.

Supporting sales activities, you’ll promote the benefits of products to customers and ensure they are aware of new products.

Additionally, you’ll carry out product modifications, perform electrical safety testing and order spare parts and single-use goods. 

As part of your role, you’ll be required to take part in an on-call rota approximately once a month, and more frequently on occasion. As such, a flexible approach to working hours is key.  

About You:

To be considered as a Sales Engineer, you’ll need: 

- Experience in a customer-facing and/or customer service environment 
- A qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline 
- Basic IT skills, including MS Office and email 
- A full, valid driving licence 

Ideally, you’ll have hospital service experience, but this isn’t essential. 

We are interested in hearing from you if you have held the role of Sales Engineer, Sales Support Technician, Product Support Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Medical Device Technician.

Other organisations may call this role Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Customer Support Technician, Customer Support Engineer, or Field Engineer. 

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check.
