About the role
A Moulding Engineer at Bespak is very much a Project or Industrialisation Engineer. You will be involved with component scale-up projects and will work with Tooling and Mechanical Engineers to make this happen. We want to be clear that this is not a maintenance engineer role as we have a different team who complete maintenance tasks.
As our new Moulding Engineer you will be the subject matter expert and go to person for the operations team and will advise them on how best to resolve breakdowns, troubleshoot problems and support them with asset management.
You will work closely with the Facilities team to specify the facility layout and services required for the injection moulding equipment and will partner with our health and safety teams to ensure that equipment is safe and ergonomic to use.
Moulding is at the core of what Bespak do, we cannot have assembly without efficient and effective moulding equipment in place. At last count we had 146 injection moulding presses onsite and you will ensure that our equipment is doing what it was intended to do and can have replicable results. As our business continues to grow our Moulding and Tooling team is expanding, 2017 saw us add 19 people to the team and due to new, exciting projects we will be recruiting for a number of roles throughout 2018.
We offer advanced training in pneumatics, robot programme writing, material handling systems and advanced injection moulding machine training. As part of our commitment to continued professional development, we will be opening a new onsite moulding training facility in 2018. The facility will be fully kitted out to RJGs specification to allow us to train our colleagues to RJG standards.
