Moulding Systems Technician
Can you build a process from scratch?
As a Moulding Systems Technician (MST) at Bespak you will be responsible for the validation process of new and refurbished mould tooling from Factory Acceptance Trial (FAT) to Production Qualification (PQ) stages.
You will follow the Bespak optimisation workbook, step by step for each part of the process to ensure that the new or refurbished tool is fully optimised and ready for validation.
Our MSTs are subject matter experts and in addition to providing process and technical expertise to the team you will identify and implement corrective actions to moulding equipment, tooling and processing in response to breakdowns.
As we are a GMP environment you will be responsible for creating and maintaining required documentation including trial reports and technical reports.
As an MST at Bespak you will typically be working at our site in King’s Lynn but on occasion will be asked to work onsite at one of our partner toolmaker locations which can involve global travel.
Moulding is a key part of what we do at Bespak and you will be a key member of the team to bring through new moulding. Most of the presses here are electric – we have hot and cold runner but mainly hot, multi cavity tooling.
As part of our commitment to continued professional development, we will be opening a new onsite moulding training facility in 2017. The facility will be fully kitted out to RJGs specification to allow us to train our colleagues to RJG Master Moulder 2 level. We champion internal development and have a clear career pathway from Technician to Engineer.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel that they can be their real and authentic selves whilst being treated with dignity and respect. We are always happy to explore flexible working and we are a proud member of the disability confident employer scheme. In short we are an equal opportunity employer who will review your application based solely on your skills, experience & potential.
