Who we are


We a fast-growing innovative company developing a range of products for use across several global industries for high value gas analysis applications. 

We are currently expanding our core technical team through the addition of an Application Scientist to provide specialist application know how to the business through supporting customer demonstrations and field trials of instruments in the target market sectors.

Application Scientist Principal Responsibilities:

+ Set up, support and report back on customer demonstrations and field trials
+ Liaise with the Technical Team providing feedback on instrument performance to inform design decisions
+ Develop new applications exploiting our existing technology identifying application specific requirements
+ Identify and present new application opportunities to the VPBD incorporating both inhouse technology and third-party equipment for consideration in future product development programmes
+ Provide input to the company’s Product Development programmes and projects
+ Provide support fo presence at trade shows and exhibitions
+ Provide expertise to the development of equipment test protocols, the design and use of test equipment and product specifications

Application Scientist Required Skills & Experience:

+ Educated to a Masters or PhD level in Chemistry or Optical Physics
+ Minimum of 2 years hands on experience working with laser optical instrumentation
+ Working knowledge of instrumentation software packages used in the process analytical industry
+ Experience working in an international business environment, particularly Asia Pacific
+ Knowledge of calibration protocols and other test methods used in gas analysis applications
+ Experience writing papers and reports and giving presentations at conferences
