About the role
Consort Medical Drug Delivery Devices (Bespak) are world leaders in the design, development and high volume manufacturing of respiratory drug delivery components.
As Product Engineering Team Leader you will manage a team of Inhalation Product Development and Support Engineers who are responsible for ensuring the quality, cost and integrity of identified developments on our inhalation medical device portfolio.
Ideally you will have worked on plastic precision parts in a disciplined environment. You will have an appreciation of robust design techniques and understand what it takes to deliver high quality in a high volume manufacturing environment for regulated markets.
Specifically in the area of inhalation drug delivery devices, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle from platform development to manufacturing supply, aiming to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
You will allocate project work and nurture your team members to ensure you all have the right skills to deliver against agreed plans. We will also be looking for you to establish, implement and improve the product designs and solutions and associated Engineering processes to ensure consistency across Bespak. You will be regularly interacting with peers across the business, suppliers and customers often as the person dealing with an escalated query and will find suitable solutions.
