As Waste Projects Programme Manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading and managing waste projects at a strategic and delivery level across the Magnox organisation, ensuring the programme supports the delivery of the Magnox Waste Strategy. Working with Magnox leadership, NDA, the supply chain and regulatory bodies, you will be required to use innovative techniques and methods to ensure the safe delivery of all radioactive waste retrieval projects, satisfying all relevant legislation and regulations, using the ‘lead and learn’ approach.
You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the technical aspects of radioactive waste retrieval, conditioning and storage, as well as a breadth of experience of managing complex programmes and projects across multi-site locations. You will have a proven commitment to promoting the highest health and safety standards. You will be a responsive and adaptable individual with excellent leadership skills, who has the drive to complete projects within time and cost, whilst managing risk.
