As a leakage inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and proactive leak detection, as well as monitoring the leakage system and data collection. Working as part of a busy team, you will liaise with other network staff about maintaining and improving the network system and zone, as well as reviewing flow alarms and calibrating and maintaining leakage equipment. It will also be part of your role to participate in out of hours standby, meaning you will provide support to the business out of the usual working hours, in addition to planning and carrying out night work.
We're looking for a driven, self-motivated individual who has held a similar role but is now looking to develop their knowledge and experience further in an industry-leading organisation. We would like you to hold an NVQ Level 2 in leakage as well as an NRSWA certificate. Knowledge of noise, flow and pressure loggers, as well as the ability to interpret flow, pressure and noise date is desirable. As a leakage inspector working in a busy environment, you will be able to work well alone or as part of a team. You will also have excellent time management and problem-solving skills. This is a customer-facing role, so you will need to demonstrate good customer service skills and excellent IT skills, as you will be dealing with internal systems daily. A flexible approach to working hours is a must as this role may involve planning and carrying out night work occasionally. A clean, full driving license is essential as you will be driving as part of your role.
