We are currently working with a leading Engineering consultancy whom are looking for a Senior CAD/MX Technician to work within their Highways and Drainage team working on major projects. Within the role you will be using Bentley Openroads, MX Roads and Model Manage on a regular basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically renowned Highways Engineering team in which you will support a team of Engineers and Graduates in preparing detailed design for highways, external works and drainage. The post holder will have responsibility for some aspects of detailed design, specification preparation and drawing and model production. 

For the right candidate there could be opportunities to work within one of their other regional office, such as Birmingham or Manchester. 

Job requirements
  • Conversant with highway design standards such as DMRB and a knowledge of Section 278 procedures.
  • Experience using Bentley MXRoad
  • Ideally experience within OpenRoads designer, however candidates without this experience will be considered and training will be provided
  • Experience working as a technical within Highways and Drainage projects
