Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Our Shropshire based client has been established for 75 years and specialises in the delivery of bespoke civil and structural engineering solutions to a diverse range of customers throughout the British Isles.

As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor to complement their established and professional team.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, and based in Telford, the successful Graduate Quantity Surveyor candidate will be tasked with supporting a small team of experienced QS professionals, working on a diverse range of construction projects across the UK, and gradually developing the skills required to become a fully-fledged Quantity Surveyor in their own right. The role will offer increased independence and scope to travel as your skills grow, through time spent with Project Managers and established Quantity Surveyors in the course of their daily activities.

As the Company are part of a bigger group, the role also offers exposure to projects within its specialist subsidiary companies to further expand your technical knowledge. Candidates must be comfortable in both an office-based environment, as well as on construction sites across the UK.

To be considered for this rare and exceptional Graduate Quantity Surveyor opportunity to join a market leading specialist sub-contractor, and develop your skills in order to become an experienced Quantity Surveying professional of the future, it is essential that you have obtained (or about to successfully complete) a degree in Quantity Surveying. Any relevant wok experience will be advantageous, although not essential.

You will also hold a full clean driving licence and be flexible to undertake regular travel as required.
