Role: Structural Design Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £33,000 - £42,000 (Negotiable)

I am looking to place a Structural Engineer in an engineering consultancy’s Nottingham office to work on a range of commercial, industrial, residential and leisure building projects. The firm has a history of award-winning engineering across different sectors covering Structural, Civil, Architectural and Environmental projects.

The Firm
The firm operates across the built environment, with previous projects including multi-storey, mixed-use high-rise developments, industrial facilities, automated manufacturing plants, hospitals,  public-sector works, and more.

About You
You will have relevant education in Structural Engineering and be working towards / recently attained Chartership with either the ICE or IStructE. You will be able to utilise industry-relevant software such as the Autodesk, Tekla or similar packages. You will be a confident technical engineer, already able to work with minimal supervision whilst having a desire to challenge yourself, take on more complex projects and start increasing your leadership responsibilities.

Job Requirements
  • Relevant Structural Design experience (mixed-use, residential, commercial, industrial, etc)
  • Relevant education in Structural Engineering
  • Working towards / recently Chartered
  • Variety of software skills e.g. Robot, Masterseries, ETABS, Tedds, TSD, CSC Fastrak
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to manage small team of more junior staff / technicians
