We are investing in our Rapid Prototyping capabilities and are upgrading the facilities at our King’s Lynn plant. We are excited to be recruiting for a manager to oversee, develop and lead us on this journey.
As the Rapid Prototyping Manager you will oversee the supply of specialised rapidly manufactured plastic components and tools. You work with colleagues and internal customers from across the Innovations and Product Engineering teams supporting their development lifecycle. You will also recruit a small team of engineers to help operate the facility.
The facility will be equipped with the latest machining and additive manufacturing technology. Its purpose will be to support research and development with producing up front printed prototype plastic components, through to design and development of production representative parts and associated tools. This investment forms part of a 3 year - 3 phase project and is a highly visible role for someone to really make a difference.
This is a rare opportunity for someone with significant experience in front end product development and rapid prototyping to come and create a best in class Rapid Prototyping facility in a world leading developer and manufacturer of complex medical devices.
