This new role is based at the established manufacturing site in Clitheroe, part of Johnson Matthey’s successful 'Efficient Natural Resources’ sector, a world class supplier of catalysts and catalytic processes to the petrochemical, syngas, oil refining and gas processing industries. This is a complex 24/7 top COMAH site, running continuous/semi batch processes, across multiple production plants. You will use techniques such as Root Cause Analysis, TPM, MTBF, MTTR, FMEA, Lean and 6 Sigma, liaising with all levels of site personnel and indirectly leading multi-functional reliability teams. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and with a peer group of Maintenance Team Leaders, this is an independent, day role, although requiring a flexible work approach to be willing to deputise for your manager and peer group, when required.

The scope of this role requires a self-motivated Mechanical Engineer or Multi-faceted Engineer, a qualified BEng or MEng in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent, with excellent interpersonal skills.  Additional qualifications such as IOSH, or an IAM Certificate would be useful.
