Our client is part of an established Group that specialise in the provision of bespoke materials handling solutions to a diverse range of customers and industry sectors worldwide. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Quality Manager to complement their established and professional Production and Manufacturing team.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful Quality Manager candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s quality systems and quality manuals, reviewing and enforcing operational alignment with the Quality System and achieving the required results for all external Quality Audits as well as assisting with inspection work and equipment when required.

Tasked with maintaining the Quality Manual in order to ensure conformance with relevant standards whilst also reflecting operational practices, you will also perform reviews of key quality administrative procedures including check sheets, vendor assessments, quality audits and quality related KPI’s, whilst driving and sustaining quality improvement within the business as a whole.

To be considered for this varied and challenging Quality Manager role, it is essential that the successful candidate demonstrates comprehensive Quality Management experience, with particular focus on ISO 9001 gained within an engineering and manufacturing environment, along with exceptional communication skills at all level and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Essentially you will be skilled in conducting audits and creating relevant and detailed reports including monthly quality related KPI’s summaries where required, whilst being able to understand the needs of the business as a whole and being able to organise and liaise with internal and external customers and contractors effectively.

In return, an attractive remuneration package and benefits are available – as well as the opportunity to join a Northampton based genuinely enthusiastic and friendly environment and team that looks after their staff as well as their customers.
