Harlow, Essex (covering projects in East London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex)

As the company grows, they are now looking for a Gate Engineer to join their team in Harlow, working across East London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex.

Your Role  

As a Gate Engineer, you will be tasked with working on-site at customers’ properties to install our client’s gating products.  

The products are automated gates which will require complete installation including digging for cabling and posts, electrical wiring and the associated security equipment.  

Working as part of a team of two or alone as the project requires, you’ll be acting as the face of the company and will provide an excellent level of service at all times and will complete jobs to perfect standards.  

Specifically, your role will involve:  

- Fitting gates and posts  
- Digging holes  
- Running first fix cabling wire  
- Commissioning electrical control boards and systems  

As part of your role, you will be required to travel up to 100 miles on a regular basis. As such, flexibility surrounding working hours will be vital.  

About You  

To be considered as a Gate Engineer, you will need:  

- Previous experience of gate installation
- A full driving licence  

Ideally candidates will have experience in security installations or fencing as well as welding skills, however these are not essential as full, comprehensive training will be provided.
