We are now looking for an Operations Engineer to join our Service Team and support installation work across the South East.

The Role

As an Operations Engineer, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on installations throughout the South East. 

Working as a key member of the Service Team, you’ll support after-sales contracts by working on a range of engines. Edina delivers the full EPC turnkey contract and offers single generator or multiple generator configuration depending on customers’ requirements.

Due to the nature of after-sales contracts, a flexible approach to working hours is important in this role. This position will involve weekend work and possible out of hours work. You will also be required to take part in an established 24 hour call-out rota. 

About You

To be considered as an Operations Engineer, you will need:

- To be a time-served technician in a mechanical and/or electrical discipline, ideally with at least three years’ experience  
- In-depth knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines  
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office  
- At a minimum, an ONC, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or motor vehicle studies   
- A full, valid driving licence
