Our client is a leading manufacturer of engineering adhesives. Having started in the early 1960s, they have advanced and developed over the past five decades so that they now span three continents and boast several ISO 9001 certified production plants in Europe.
This family-run company continues to go from success to success and they are now looking for a Sales Engineer to cover the East Midlands, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk.
- Salary of £30,000 - £40,000

As a Sales Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting distributors and customers throughout the East Midlands, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk, growing the existing customer base and developing new business across the region.
This combination of sales and support is perfect for a technically minded individual who is eager to get out in front of customers. In this project oriented and customer focused role you will be getting involved in all aspects of the sales cycle, from visiting customers to advise on the right product prior to a purchase to responding to technical queries and delivering training in an after-sales capacity.
You will also work with existing distributors to provide turnkey solutions and will have the chance to negotiate and provide quotes as well as get involved within new product launches and trade events.
To be considered as a Sales Engineer, you will need:
- Sales experience gained within a field-based role
- Experience gained within a technical or science-based organisation
- To be organised and able to follow projects through to completion
- The ability to manage a territory as if it’s your own business
- To be hungry and driven
- To be technically minded with the ability to understand the adhesives market
- Good knowledge of Microsoft
- A full, valid driving licence
