An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Scheduler to join our client. The successful candidate will programme a project including the Work Breakdown Structure and establishment of the BoM and route. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX would be an advantage.
You will be educated to A level or equivalent, Engineering BTec/NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) and have experience of production control and/or internal logistics in a manufacturing/maintenance environment. You should be able to work well as part of a multifunction team in a pressurised production environment, in a well organised way.
The successful candidate will provide support to our client’s team with scheduled part delivery information and maintenance of the production control databases.

Our client’s Centre is their very own state-of-the-art boat building facility which brings every stage of lifeboat construction, refit and maintenance in-house and under one roof.
Our client’s exciting programme, to extend the life of their largest all-weather lifeboat, is growing as they transition from the design/prototype phase to the ongoing production programme. This brings with it a requirement for additional production support to ensure that tasks are planned, resourced and executed in the safest and most efficient way, to deliver on time and to the highest standard.
You will not only work alongside the Design Team but will also work in conjunction with the Internal Construction and Refit Support Cell, where you will work with our client’s Technical Surveyors, Buyers and other Engineering disciplines to provide support to all areas of production, refit and repair.

Due to current circumstances, you may be working from home when your role commences. You will be given the correct equipment you need to perform in your role.
